Your Waverley Park Experience

I quite enjoy the buzz in our streets and lanes before and after school. I was well aware when I bought a house that backed on to a secondary school that the lane would be used by school children and I've been pleasantly surprised by how well the secondary school kids behave in the lane. I work part time so I'm at home during the day often. Only once have I had to open the gate and ask the kids to stop using bad language because my daughter was playing in the garden. The kids were obviously embarrassed and apologised. On the whole I'd say having the school so close has been a positive experience (and in 8 years I'm sure my daughter will agree when she can fall out if bed into class). If we could improve the lane by resurfacing it would be great for everyone who uses it.
